3 Gastonia, NC Gastonia, NC Full-time Full-time $65,000 - $70,000 a year $65,000 - $70,000 a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago Maintenance Scheduler/Planner This position is based at our Allen Plant location in Gastonia, NC The Maintenance Scheduler/Planner will schedule and align Maintenance and Engineering work tasks as well as coordinate and schedule contractor services for the Allen Plant.
This position will also work with all teams at the Allen plant to schedule internal project work while documenting, tracking, and handling invoices for parts and services.
Project work related to our work order system and priority work planning will also be within scope.

Responsibilities:
Work with technical teams and production for scheduling of services and projects Manage WOs for plant production equipment as well as project requests from operations Support maintenance in deployment of new WO system and maintenance KPI documentation Foster, develop and maintain vendor relationships with service contractors Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels when problems arise Directly deal with procurement on invoice issues, part orders and customer service issues for maintenance and engineering teams Influence a culture change within plant to establish a better WO and priority tracking system as well as accountability within all Allen Plant Teams Interact with corporate functions for regulatory compliance for inspections, cleanings, services and training for plant and maintenance group Maintain up to date work plans for off-shift, OT, project and shutdown projects Work in conjunction with PM coordinator to develop value add PMs, automatic work flows improvements to our PM scheduling process REQUIREMENTS:
Education &
Experience:
Associate Degree in a technical discipline with 3 years' experience in a manufacturing scheduling setting, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years direct related Maintenance Scheduler work experience required Required Skills:
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite a must (Excel, PowerPoint especially) Previous high level of interaction and accountability working with manufacturing supervisors and managers in a fast-paced production environment Must have strong verbal and written communication skills focusing on detail-oriented record keeping and planning Strong sense of accountability and a self-motivation.
Can work independently as well as part of a team High level of organizational skills a must Strong critical thinking skills and an innovative mindset - out of the box thinker Preferred Experience/Certification/Skills:
CMP a plus (Certified Maintenance Planner) General mechanical aptitude a plus Job Type:
