Participate in site bid walks to provide input to estimator.
Assist in project cost estimating and working budget / bid development.
Read and interpret construction drawings.
Lead process development of MOPs and BOMs Review the project in depth to collaborate between construction team and procurement for the ordering and deliveries of materials.
Determine timing and supplying of tools, equipment, materials, services, permits, labor etc.
to execute project and ensure available for execution of project.
Quantify resource requirements and identify resources (subs) to conduct projects on an ongoing basis.
Identify, screen, engage, and schedule qualified subcontractors for scope execution.
Responsible for determination, quantification, negation, submission and tracking of change orders.
Provide operational support to Construction Superintendents and Foremen to ensure proper execution of project and collaborate with them to obtain job status and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with all functional divisions to ensure successful job execution such as Human- Resources, EH&S, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Fleet, etc.
Develop, expand upon, and maintain good customer relations.
Communicate project status and proactively resolve open issues as they may arise.
Maintain awareness of all onsite and offsite construction tasks to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Familiarity with contract and ensured compliance with all contractual obligations.
Creation of operational contract summary template.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Review and report on the work in progress daily.
Develop and maintain a project scheduler.
Monitor job tasks status and forecasts.
Conduct variance to OP analysis and propose mitigating actions to achieve OP.
Maintain lessons learned logs and apply them to future scenarios.
Prepare and present project take off and project recap at conclusion of the project.
Provide necessary information for close out packages and billing.
Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Assist in negotiating terms and agreements, contracts, and obtaining permits and licenses.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
Communication with field operations to make them aware of compliance with quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Continuously improve operational efficiencies through resource allocation, logistical planning, process improvement, customer collaboration, etc.
Assist organization in identifying and implementing new growth opportunities.
Direct oversight of assistant project management and assist in his/her personal development.
Onsite project visits as required for job understanding and team building (for new PM, higher frequency at commencement of projects) Partake in any special projects as they may arise.
Ability to lead a team of solar construction.
Project management experience.
Able to read blueprints.
Have or ability to obtain OSHA 30 within a specific time.
Cultivate customer relationships.
