Position:
Community Services Associate - Peer Support Specialist Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Assist clients in articulating personal goals for recovery through the use of in-person interaction, one-to-one, and group sessions.
During these sessions the CPPS will support clients in identifying and creating goals and developing recovery plans with the skills, strengths, supports and resources to aid them in achieving those goals.
2.
Ability to provide in-person/direct contact support to the beneficiary 90% of allocated weekly service hours.
3.
Performs other related duties as assigned Supervisory
Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid North Carolina driver's license North Carolina Peer Support Certification (NC CPSS) REQUIRED Specialized Trainings:
Annual continuing educations (10hrs) Within 30 days of hire:
3 hours of Peer Support Services Policy components; review of 1 hour of Documentation Training Job Type:
